Biking in Keystone and around Lake Dillon
One of the most popular things to do in Colorado is biking! There is a paved bike trail right off the parking lot to the East from our Keystone condos. The trail leads to Keystone and the golf courses to the East. Heading West leads around the North shore of Lake Dillon to Frisco and Breckenridge. The Vail Pass trail starts in Frisco, goes through Copper Mountain and up a spectacular valley to the top of Vail Pass.
Once on the trail, you'll see many different things. One of the best places along the trail is the River Golf Course in Keystone. The trail snakes through the golf course with some incredible views looking to the East.
Eventually you'll get around to Lake Dillon and see the majestic view of the whole lake with snowcapped peaks in all directions. As you bike around Lake Dillon, you will go through the town of Dillon, across the Lake Dillon Dam, then over to Frisco. At Frisco, you can either continue to Breckenridge or fork off and go to Copper Mountain, over Vail Pass and evenutally into Vail.
