You've Only Got 7 More Days to Buy a Season Pass!

If you have been on the fence about weather or not to purchase a season pass for the upcoming ski season, your time is running out, FAST!  Keystone Resort and all Epic brand season passes are only on sale through next Sunday, November 18, 2018.   You may wonder, is it really worth it to buy a season pass?  The answer is different for everyone, but a general rule of thumb is that if you are skiing or snowboarding 4 days or more this snow season, you might be better off purchasing a season pass rather than lift tickets.  Lift tickets tend to run over $100 a day for adults and prices vary based on when you visit.  If you are buying lift tickets, it is always a better value to purchase them online at least 7 days prior to you visit, instead of waiting to buy at the ticket window.  Purchasing online in advance can save you up to 25% on lift tickets at Keystone Resort or any 'Epic' Vail Resort.   The most affordable Season Pass option is the Keystone A-Basin pass which offers unlimited skiing and riding at both resorts, but with a few blackout days; 11/23/18 & 11/24/18, 12/26/18 - 12/31/18, 1/19/19, 2/16/19 & 2/17/19.  This pass is currently $389 for adults and $289 for kids.  If you want to add Breckenridge into the mix, look at the Summit Value Pass, which has totally blackout free skiing and riding at Keystone and A-Basin dates, but the holiday restricted dates listed above apply at just Breckenridge Ski Resort.  Otherwise you can ski as much as you want between the 3 resorts, minus the Breckenridge Blackout dates.  This would be a great option to go with if you are visiting during any of the holiday time periods such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, MLK or President's Day Three-Day Weekends. The Summit Value Pass is currently $579 for adults, $469 for Teens ages 13 - 18 and $339 for kids ages 5-12.  Another benefit included with season passes are the 6 'Ski With A Friend' (SWAF) Tickets that get loaded onto your pass, which are valid for discounted tickets at varying prices throughout the season.  These would be great if you have someone traveling with you that didn't purchase a season pass but would like access to discounted lift tickets.   If you are in the military,  you have an even sweeter offer this year for the 10 year Epic Pass Anniversary, with highly discounted Epic Passes for Military Members.  The Epic Military Pass starts at $149 for active and retired members and there is a $549 pass option for veterans.   If you do decide that a season pass in the best option for you this ski season, be sure to purchase one online on or before November 18.  Take care of it all and purchase lodging at the same time.  SummitCove Lodging in Keystone offers competitive rates and 24/7 guest services for your upcoming ski vacation.  View our ski lodging rentals now.
