Head for the Hills This Weekend in Keystone

Spring in the high country is a great time to visit, with beautiful weather, fun events, and tons of great live music! If you are looking for some local Colorado music to liven up your weekend, look no further than Head for the Hills, performing at Warren Station Center for the Arts this Saturday, March 12th in Keystone's River Run Village. Described as the 'epitome of Colorado Bluegrass', this band brings a modern twist to the genre.  They were tagged 'Best in Colorado Bluegrass' by the Westword Showcase Reader's Poll. This is not the band's first visit to Keystone, they performed an incredible New Year's Eve show to ring in 2015 and they are back for more good times here in 2016! Locals and visitors alike will enjoy a fun night of great music and dancing.  Free parking for the event is available in the Montezuma Skier Parking lot just near the venue. Head for the Hills performs a mixture of original songs and popular covers sure to please all audiences. They are self described as "Pop-infused newgrass murder ballads and urbane lyricism." Their latest album is a combination of "bluegrass, jazz, hip-hop and indie rock into songs inspired by love and misery and comic books." You won't want to miss this fun performance! Doors open at 8pm and the show starts at 9pm, at Warren Station, in River Run in Keystone. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $18 the day of if they are still available.
