Keystone and Vail Resorts Season Epic Passes Prices Go Up on September 4!

We are lucky here in Colorado to have so many amazing ski resorts at our fingertips.  We are even luckier to have season pass options available that allow us to go to multiple resorts each season all on the same ski pass at very affordable prices.   Vail Resorts offers a wide variety of pass options to allow you to choose the one that best suits your needs based on when you'll be skiing and how often.  The least expensive option is the Keystone - Arapahoe Basin pass which offers unlimited skiing or riding at Keystone and A-Basin with a few holiday restrictions, 11/24/17 - 11/25/17, 12/26/17 - 12/31/17, 1/13/18, 2/17/18 - 2/18/18.  This pass is currently going for just $349 for adults and $259 for kids.  This pass pays for itself after 3 - 4 days on the mountain!  The next option up adds Breckenridge Ski Resort to the mix, with the Summit Value Pass.  It has the same date restrictions and is running at $529 for adults, $429 for teens ages 13 - 18 and $299 for kids ages 5 - 12.  This pass will pay for itself after 4 - 5 days out on the ski slopes. If your ski trip is happening over the holidays, you visit the mountains often or even if you are just planning multiple ski trips this winter, you may want to consider the Epic Local or full Epic passes.  The prices on these are higher, but they include the most resorts and have few to no restrictions on the days you can ski. Resorts on these passes in the Summit County and surrounding areas, include Keystone, Breckenridge, Arapahoe Basin, Vail and Beaver Creek.  You can also visit other areas, such as Tahoe, Whistler-Blackcomb and Afton Alps or even other countries like Austria, France and Switzerland.  Currently the adult Epic Local is $639 and the adult Epic is $859.   We highly recommend purchasing season passes if you plan on skiing or riding more than 3 days this ski season. 2017 / 2018 Ski Season Pass prices will be going up on September 4, so be sure to purchase yours before then.  Passes aren't on sale for the whole season either, they are typically only available until sometime around the end of November or early December so if you are thinking about buying one, why not do it now at the lower rate?  Ticket window rates vary depending on the date and which resort you are at, but at Keystone they can vary anywhere from $99 to over $150.  If you are purchasing single day tickets, you can guarantee on the best rate by purchasing those at least 7 days in advance online.   The same goes for your lodging! Reserve your ski season lodging now to get the best rates and selection.  SummitCove is currently offering 10% off advance ski-season lodging.  Call one of our vacation planners at (970) 368-7023 to reserve a ski condo.
