Arapahoe Basin was founded in 1946 and provides breathtaking landscapes and a beautiful setting for you and your wedding guests. Arapahoe Basin represents the tranquility of the Rockies and the beauty therein. The true mountain wedding experience is at its best at Arapahoe Basin. Arapahoe Basin is located at the base of the Continental Divide and features the infamous Black Mountain!  There are two different Arapahoe Basin Wedding Venues and each offer a unique experience. The Black Mountain Lodge is perfect for large groups (up to 200 people) and is just stunning. The 6th Alley Bar & Grill is perfect for hosting your rehearsal dinner!

What makes Arapahoe Basin unique is that it is truly a ‘mountain escape’ and provides the perfect backdrop for your special day.  Keystone is the closest area with lodging available for the wedding party and all invitees. Arapahoe Basin and Keystone are near enough each other to run back and forth (the distance is about 5 miles) so you can enjoy your wedding days in two great Mountain Resorts!  There are also shuttles available for rent that can take you from your guest lodging in Keystone up to A-Basin.

Arapahoe Basin has very accomplished chefs and many different menus to choose from including French Countryside to Pacific Rim options for rehearsal dinners, wedding dinners or any other type you may need! They are known for their amazing cuisine and can customize to your liking. Be sure to contact Arapahoe Basin if you have further questions regarding the area and possible wedding dates. Remember, it is easier to hold the ceremony on weekdays and non-Saturdays for a destination wedding because guests typically tend to visit for longer than just the weekend, so don’t count out a Sunday, Monday or even a Thursday! The 6th Alley Bar & Grill open to the public for lunch service Fridays through Sundays throughout the summer. We also serve food outside of Black Mountain Lodge on Saturdays and Sundays.
